Fred Kaps was possibly the greatest magician the Netherlands has ever produced. I was never terribly enthusiastic about his work until I saw him do the famous Chinese Sticks trick. I suppose I had hardly taken much notice of him until that time. It seems I missed something! Anyway I came across this clip devoted to his work. I think it will be of great interest to magic aficionados.
In addition to being a magician I am also a very experienced palmist. I found this on you tube and I didn’t even know it was there!
I was originally going to post a video of Rudolfo a fantastic Hungarian pickpocket and magician but alas the clip has been taken down. Instead I shall post another of my favourite pickpockets the amazing Potassy whom I have admired for decades. Here he is on Spanish television. I do hope you can speak Spanish but I think you will still enjoy it even if you don’t.
This is a real gem. It is a 30 minute show from the incomparable Slydini, master of close up magic.
Here is another Slydini video. I rather like this one despite it being in Black and White. This is from French television:
Here I am doing a lecture for the Hat and Rabbit club in Toronto. This is a magic club for magicians.
The greatest performance of card tricks I ever saw was by a man named Joe Stuthard. He was a Canadian who travelled all over the world demonstrating and selling magic tricks. In my next post I will tell you more about him. For now here is a photograph of him.
